PORCELAIN PLATES

These series of porcelain plates are a joint venture. The plates themselves are created by Alon; and then painted by both Batya and Alon.

Enjoying and celebrating the vividness of color on porcelain, Batya and Alon paint on these plates icons such as hearts, lips, eyes and skulls.  The pallet of colors and the use of gold are inspired by the crafts of different Eastern cultures: Persian, Islamic, Indian.
