Alongside my long-standing activity as a ceramic artist, I paint. Mostly, though not only, in watercolors.

My paintings are not preparatory sketches or studies for 3D ceramic works; but rather stand for themselves-as yet another branch of my artistic activity. While painting, I feel a freedom quite different than that involved in ceramic art, and of course, different challenges as well…
